How It Works

1

Upload your study material

Use a clear photo, PDF, worksheet, or pasted notes. Terms, definitions, facts, and concept-based material work especially well.

2

AI extracts the key ideas

AvaStudy reads your material and pulls out the terms, definitions, and questions worth knowing.

3

Pick a game and play

Choose from 11 free core games, with 11 deeper strategy and recall games available in AvaStudy Unlimited. Compatible games appear based on your guide.

4

It tracks what you miss and brings it back

AvaStudy scores your confidence on every concept and keeps resurfacing the shaky ones — spaced out over days — until they stick. Your Daily Challenge and Practice sessions are built from what you haven't mastered yet, not a fixed list.

Why it works

The app knows what you don't know yet

Every answer moves a concept between still learning, getting there, and mastered. Weak concepts come back sooner; mastered ones space out — and slip back if you start missing them again. It's the difference between replaying the same deck and actually closing your gaps before the test.

And you can see it: a topic-by-topic breakdown of what you've got down and what still needs work, updated every time you play.

Why I built this

My daughter Ava is a good student. She'd work with her mom and dad going through flashcards before tests — and it worked. But sometimes she'd get frustrated. Same cards, same routine, over and over.

One morning after a review session I couldn't stop thinking: there has to be a more fun, more creative way to go through a study guide. That same day I built a prototype. Two days later I showed it to her.

“How did you do that?”

— Ava

She's used AvaStudy on every study guide since and has gotten perfect to near-perfect grades. That's where the name comes from. If it can help others the way it's helped Ava, that's what it's for.
